To unlock the Arclight Camo for melee weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, you'll need to complete a handful of challenges. They tend to be simple on paper, but when you consider that you will be up against guns, it makes the entire camo hunt a bit challenging.

To make it easier, you can always use perks, particularly the ones that emphasise melee prowess.

Using perks like Ninja, Lightweight, and Tracker helps by making it easier to hunt down enemies, whilst also being harder to hit and be detected. Increasing your odds of securing kills with your melee.

Military Camo Challenge

The first step of the challenge requires you to get 80 melee kills. This challenge goes hand-in-hand with progressing through the other melee tiers, you’ll likely be done with it , from completing the other challenges indirectly.

Special Camo Challenges

This challenge requires you to get 15 kills with a catch; you are required to make the kill after sliding, dolphin diving, or jumping.

Sliding is one of the more reliable methods as it is pretty fast and gives you a buffer time before the enemy can even react.

To check if your slides are counted for in the challenge, you can always look at the medals. Which will show "Low Blow" for slides, "Dive Shots" for dolphin jumps, and "Jump Shot" for wall jumps.

Another challenge requires you to get 15 kills after switching weapons; it’s relatively easier compared to the other ones, especially if you have the Fast Hands perk.

The Fast Hands perk allows you to run with an arranged weapon, which you can switch instantly to the knife just before encountering an enemy.

The last part of the challenge requires you to get kills without getting hit or damaged. There is no particular technique for this one. It will gradually add up as you complete the challenge..

But you could always utilise smoke grenades and perks to increase your odds. The Active Camo allows you to get close to enemies without even being detected.

With that done, you’re now left with the Shattering Gold requirement, where you will have to get three kills without dying, and you’ll have to do it a total of 10 times. This is where your patience will truly be tested, as you will need to carefully hold the corners and utilise enemy spawns.

After putting in the grind for the Shattered Gold, your last objective is to get 10 double kills; Hardpoint is the best mode for this, as enemies will gather around specific objective points, making it easy for you to get back-to-back kills. You’ll want to utilise the smoke grenade here once again.

With these various methods and a bit of effort, you will be able to get your hands on the Arclight Camo Knife.
