Here's how you can inititate the Lightning Round in Ashes of the Damned.

The Lightning Easter Egg in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Ashes of the Damned, causes lightning events to be activated in the back-to-back instead of you having to wait for the usual cooldown, which is tied to the main quest.

It's a trick that relies on the usage of the Ol’ Tessie and the Wunderwaffe upgrade. To manually power specific lamp posts around the Diner, which basically forces the lightning sequence to commence.

To start, you'll first want to reach the diner area and make sure there's Ol' Tessie to fire from there. Look for three lamps around the diner, which will act as targets for the Easter Egg.

The first lamp post is going to be positioned directly across from the Trucker.

The other two will be located at the entrance of the Diner area.

It's easy to know which ones to shoot at, as the lamps are not lit and they give off a faint spark. Firing the Wunderwaffe at them from the Ol’ Tessie will cause them to crackle with a giant spark, indicating that progression is being made.

Repeat the process for the second and third lamp posts by driving the Ol’ Tessie around. After the final post is struck, you will see lightning spawning over the map and confirming that you have completed the Easter Egg.

This Easter Egg makes lightning requirements significantly easier, allowing you to do specific runs, requiring just the Wunderwaffe and the Ol’ Tessie to conduct, and it can be done as soon as you reach the Diner section.
