Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Guide | How to Find Glimmet and Evolve into Glimmora
Catch Glimmet fast in a specific cave with a Rock Encounter Power boost, then evolve it at Level 35.
Game Guide by Jubair Baky on Mar 09, 2026
Glimmet can be frustrating to track down in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet because it does not spawn everywhere. It is also easy to lose a catch if you hesitate, since it can use Self-Destruct. The safest plan is boosting Rock spawns, entering the right cave, and throwing a fastball the moment you see it.
Best Glimmet Location To Search
Glimmet has multiple locations, but the most focused route is the bottom-left side of the map. The guide route targets a cave in the far left corner. Head to that corner, enter the cave, and start checking spawns inside. It may not appear instantly, so expect a few minutes of movement before it shows up.

Use A Rock Encounter Power Sandwich
To make the spawn more consistent, use a Rock Encounter Power Level 1 boost. The route uses a Picnic and makes the Great BLT Sandwich, which gives Encounter Power: Rock Level 1. Once the buff is active, go straight into the cave and keep searching.

Catch Glimmet Before It Self-Destructs
When Glimmet finally appears, catch it quickly. It can use Self-Destruct, so lowering its HP can be risky. A Quick Ball is a strong option here because it gives you a fast first-turn catch attempt without needing to weaken it.

How To Evolve Glimmet Into Glimmora
Glimmet evolves into Glimmora at Level 35. If your Glimmet is already above that level, it can evolve right away after it gains a level.

In the route shown, a Glimmet at Level 41 evolves immediately, confirming the evolution requirement is simply hitting Level 35.
