Kingdom Come: Deliverance II follows in the footsteps of the first game, continuing the saga of Henry of Skalitz as he resumes his crusade of vengeance and adventure.
The Sleeping Potion, also known as the Lullaby Potion, is required for the "Mice" side quest. The potion gets used to make a bull fall asleep so that it can be painted; here is a step-by-step guide on how you can brew this potion.
Gather Ingredients
To brew the Sleeping Potion, you'll only need three herbs: Poppy, Thistle, and Herb Paris.
- Poppy: This red flower can be found around Troskowitz, particularly around the blacksmith's location. Poppies are relatively common and easy to spot.
- Thistle: Thistle is a pink flower and one of the most common herbs in the game. You'll be able to find it in abundance in the fields around Troskowitz.
- Herb Paris: This herb is the hardest to find, as it blends into the environment. It grows in deep woods. To locate it, head to the southern end of Troskowitz, near a river with a broken log. Herb Paris can be found around that area.
Brewing The Potion
Once you've collected all the ingredients, head to an Alchemy Bench. The easiest one to access is located in Troskowitz.
To start brewing, you'll want to prepare the ingredients: Place the Poppy, Thistle, and Herb Paris. You can do this quickly by holding the "Prepare" button, which automatically places the required ingredients on the shelf.
Begin by increasing the fire using the Bellows; after that, pour oil into the cauldron as the base liquid for the potion.
Take a poppy from the shelf and throw it into the cauldron. Lower the cauldron and immediately activate the sandglass to start the brewing process. Once the timer is out, raise the cauldron.
Next, add the Thistle into the cauldron, lower the cauldron, and then activate the sandglass again. Raise it once the timer runs out.
Lastly, take Herb Paris and place it in the mortar. Use the pestle to grind it into fine dust; once you're done, add it to the cauldron.
Grab a phial from the left side of the bench and pour the potion into it. If done correctly, you'll get yourself three strong Lullaby Potions.
