You can begin your Journey in Hernand by getting Silver very early. Keys are used to collect Silver from Banks, and to get these Keys, you’ll need to to visit shops and kill Bandits and loot the keys from them.

Go round into the back of the building, and empty the chests. You will be walking away with 50 to 70 Silver. These products come back on a weekly basis in the game and thus you can revisit later. Just stay out of sight.

Fast Travel and Tools

When you start playing the game for the first time, the game will give you a Tent, you have to go to the Tent. Climb the hill behind it and get to a platform. It is an expedited Travel Site. These are uncommon, and therefore enable them to conserve time in Crimson Desert.

You also have a sword skill. Press L1 and R1 or LB. This creates a light. It makes you see Fast Travel Platforms and Abyss Artifacts around. It is most effective when standing on an elevated place.

Greymanes and Your Camp

After getting a Camp, work on the Greyman quests. Take every request they have. Get Greymen as many as the game will.

They prove extremely useful when it comes to obtaining food and beating bosses. The Howling Hill Camp is the principal object. Keep your mind to this until you cannot go any further in Crimson Desert.

The Map and Mining

When you find one ore, make sure you mine at least one, and in this way you’ll see that the Ore is highlighted in your Environment Tab. Ore is one of the most important resources in the game, which can be found in the Environment Tab of your character.

You can almost mine everything, starting from Iron to Copper and granite. Do not sell these materials. Ore takes a week to grow back. Walk by your Camp roads regularly to have your stocks up.

Hidden Caves and Items

Caves are a great way to get 10-20 silver. To enter a cave, you’ll see that some rocks are scattered around the Waterfall and then you’ll see an opening. To get in press your R1 and Triangle Stab Attack

One of the most important things to remember is how you can arrange your Items in Crimson Desert. Make sure to get rid of old letters and posters that you think are no longer needed and stack up items that have a Group Icon like the Abyss Cores and  Gears

Using Witches and Sockets

Do not forget the Witches. One is to be found in the Witchwoods around Hernand. They help you get stronger. Create holes to your equipment with the Create Socket menu.

Then you can put Abyss Cores in these holes to increase your defense and attack. Spend money on equipment with multiple slots only. Chest Plate with three slots is a good idea in Crimson Desert.
