To solve it, you'll need to advance through the main storyline and get a particular combat skill, which is key to getting past magical barriers in the puzzle.

Getting Ready for the Quarry

Before you can start the Quarry Puzzle, make sure you've reached Chapter 4 of the main quest.

Once inside, you'll be confronted with several laser beams that will hinder your progress. You can handle these by utilizing your Axiom Force ability to snatch them up and destroy them.

However, the real obstacle is a projected wall that cannot be broken with standard attacks. To bring this wall down, you must destroy the object generating the projection hidden behind it.

Learning the Focus Punch

Breaking the barrier requires the Focus Punch ability. You can only learn this during the Scholastone Institute mission.

Follow the trail until you reach a spot where you have to crawl under a large rock. A ghostly figure will be formed, seemingly ready to provide direction. This particular skill grants access to a Focus State, which essentially slows down time.

Within this Focus, you can unleash a powerful assault, one that can break through the barriers of certain objects.

Unlocking Fast Travel

After you've got the ability, head back to the quarry. Use the Focus Punch to smash the projector and break down the wall in Crimson Desert.

You'll find an Abyss Teleport Pad hidden inside. If you've already picked up the Abyss Pot earlier on, you're in luck; you can grab this teleportation device and tuck it away.
