Getting a Ranch for your Camp is a great way to collect meat and other items as you progress. You should try to unlock this as early as possible, even though it takes some time to finish. This Guide will help you navigate the steps to upgrade your base and start producing resources.

Starting Faction Quests

To begin, you need to open your Faction Quests and look for the Grounds of the Sunrise mission. These tasks involve going out to find and bring back members of the Greymane's.

Each time you recruit one of these people, they add new parts to your Camp like a Blacksmith or a Farm. Make sure you do these missions as soon as they appear so you do not miss any upgrades in Crimson Desert.

Recruiting Ben

The person you need for this specific job is Ben. You can find him by following a quest called A Rumor in Goldleaf Trading Post. Keep an eye on your messages, and once this quest pops up, go find him.

Ben is very important because he allows you to build both a Farm and a Ranch. Your friend with one leg will usually remind you to stay on top of these missions.

Completing the Milk Mission

Once you have recruited Ben, you must do a specific task at the Bloomwood Ranch. Go to the Mission Dispatch menu and look for the Milk Harvesting mission in Crimson Desert.

You have to do this exact mission to move forward. This task takes about seventeen hours of in-game time. You can choose to sleep for twelve hours to speed it up, or just keep playing until the time passes.

Constructing the Ranch

After your workers finish the harvest mission and return home, you can finally start the construction. Open your Main Map and click on the Base Icon. Navigate to the Mission List and choose the option to construct the Ranch.

This gaming strategy will wrap up your base setup, allowing you to begin resource gathering. This pro tip is crucial for ensuring a steady supply of food and resources as you explore in Crimson Desert.
