If you're finding it tough to take down Tenebrum in Crimson Desert, the game's prompts are probably throwing you off. The fight begins by telling you to use your Sword Light ability followed by a Light Attack to find a weakness, but you can safely ignore this advice.

The most effective way to end this encounter is to take advantage of the environment rather than following the cryptic on-screen instructions.

Using the Wind to Your Advantage

The key to this battle is the constant upward wind in the arena. This allows you to stay in the air for as long as you need in Crimson Desert.

Instead of fighting on the ground, jump up and deploy your Wingsuit to glide. Flying offers a shield against many ground-based threats, and it provides an ideal position from which to launch an attack.

Landing the Finishing Blows

As you glide, keep an eye on Tenebrum. Wait for it to drift toward the middle of the battlefield and then come to a halt. When the boss is motionless, position yourself directly above it and unleash your Focus Punch. On most controllers, you can trigger this by clicking R3.

You only need to land this powerful diving punch two or three times to end the fight. It is a very fast process once you stop trying to identify weaknesses and start using the air currents.

Just stay patient in the sky, wait for your opening, and strike hard to move past this boss in Crimson Desert.
