To crack the Altar of Solitude Abyss Puzzle, you'll be juggling power sources and sliding panels across several floors. This guide is designed to help you find your way through the maze and get that final gate open in Crimson Desert.

Powering the Lower Level

Start by grabbing the left disc and placing it in the designated slot. Look behind you to ensure the Power Cube is sitting on its platform.

When that square is attached, it sends power to the mechanism and causes the floor to drop. Once you descend, weave through the small network of corridors to find a panel on the right side. Use Axiom to reach it and use the directional pad to turn the object.

Getting the panel through the narrow gap is tricky because visibility is low, but it does fit. Move it to the edge, flip it onto its horizontal side, and pull it through in Crimson Desert.

Position this panel as high as possible near the roof on one of the edges. Use the momentum from the swinging lever above to help hold it there.

Now, head back to the top and remove the Power Cube. This resets the sides, causing the mechanisms to spin back to the left so you can access your panels.

Swapping the Panels

Take the new panel you just brought up and place it in the middle slot. This clears a barricade on the right side of the area.

Next, move the two panels from the left side over to the two empty slots on the right. To remove a panel from a socket, do not use the pull command. Instead, rotate the right stick until you feel a vibration, then pull it out in Crimson Desert.

After placing the panels in the right-hand slots, use a slam attack on both to ensure they are firmly attached. Put the Power Cube back onto its platform at the top to activate the clamps. This allows you to drop down into the area that was previously blocked off.

Activating the Final Gate

In the newly opened area, grab the final panel. Just like before, use the momentum of the swinging mechanism to bring it to the top level.

Position it near the edge and head back up to remove the Power Cube one last time so the machinery flips back.

Now that you have all four panels on the top floor, place two on the left side and two on the right. When you go to pull the panels into their final spots, remember to use the analog stick rather than the pull button in Crimson Desert.

Rotate the stick until the vibration triggers and the piece pops into place. Once all four are positioned, the finishing gate will power up, and the Altar of Solitude puzzle will be complete.
