Here’s a guide on how to farm Iron & Copper in Crimson Desert.

Finding the best Crimson Desert mining locations for Iron and Copper is a key part of getting your gear ready for the late game. You might think Iron is the most important thing at first, but you will need a lot of Copper for high-level crafting later on.

Do not walk past any nodes you see while exploring. If you break even one piece of a node, it shows up on your map in the Environments Tab. This helps you find the same spots again when you zoom in on your menu.

Setting a Mining Schedule

Resources in this world do not come back instantly. It takes seven in-game days for an ore node to return. Because of this, you should pick one day a week to do all your mining. If you mine different spots on different days, they will all reset at different times.

This makes your run less efficient. If you start mining on a Friday, make Friday your permanent mining day so everything stays on the same cycle in Crimson Desert.

Following the Best Route

The best place to start is Howling Hill right by your Base Camp. There is a long cliff face there that is full of Iron and Copper. Follow the cliff all the way down and grab every node. You should also look for spots near Fast Travel points in the Hand area.

One good spot has Copper, Iron, and Bismuth Ore. To get Bismuth, you have to use an electrical move on it first. Some characters can do this easily, but stay alert for enemies in that area.

Tools and Rare Items

There is a spot further out with two Copper nodes and a Blood Stone. Blood Stone is a high-level item you will need much later, so it is smart to start saving it now. Some nodes are high up on the rocks and hard to reach.

Early on, you might have to climb, but later you can use the Axiom ability or moves like Force Hit and Force Punch to get them quickly. Having a Dog helps too because it will pick up the items for you while you move in Crimson Desert.

Where to Buy Extra Ore

When you get to the middle of the game, you can start buying ore to add to what you find. Go to Cairn House near the Fast Travel point.

A person there sells a small amount of Iron. Do not spend your money on this too early since you will need your cash for other things in Crimson Desert.

Later on, your Seller at the Base Camp will have about thirty Iron and ten Copper for sale. This is a good way to get extra materials without having to wait for nodes to grow back.
