To repair damaged systems and maintain your equipment underwater, you must unlock essential tools. The Repair Tool is a piece of gear you will need early on, and you must find fragmented parts of it to scan and unlock the Blueprint.

While these parts can show up in several different places in the world, knowing specific locations will help you get it quickly. This guide will show you three distinct spots where you can find these items to analyze in Subnautica 2.

The Pillar Facility

Start your journey at the floating Lifepod and turn your focus toward the southeast. Swim this way until you reach a cluster of large stone pillars rising from the seafloor. Check the base of the pillars carefully and you will see a man-made light source pointing down.

Dive straight down beneath this light to locate the entrance to an Underground Facility. Head inside the structure and look for a table in the main room. The first Repair Tool part is resting directly on top of the surface for you to analyze with your Scanning Tool.

The Great Wreckage Opening

From the Illuminated Pillar Facility, change your heading and swim directly north. Keep moving until you reach a massive, broken-down shipwreck resting on the ocean floor in Subnautica 2.

There’s a secret opening under the main ship hull that leads under the wreckage. Check this lower space for other valuable Blueprints like the Bioreactor and Tadpole fragments.

Make your way to the far side of this under-ship chamber to find the second Repair Tool part waiting to be scanned.

The Southern Shipwreck Couch

To find the final component, return to your main Lifepod to reset your orientation, then swim straight south. You will eventually hit another large shipwreck resting in the deep water.

Locate the main entrance on the side of the hull and swim inside the dark interior corridors. Once you cross the threshold, turn left and search the immediate room. In Subnautica 2 the third Repair Tool piece is on a couch which you can use to finish the Blueprint.
