Where to Go

Start at your Lifepod and look southeast. You need to travel about 500 meters in that direction. You do not have to bring a Tadpole, but you might want some Heat Resistance gear. You will pass through a Heat Zone on your way.

You might be able to swim around the side of it, but it is best to be ready for the temperature just in case.

You will not spend much time in the heat. Keep heading southeast until the water gets darker and you reach the Crab Graveyard in Subnautica 2.

How to Collect It

Once you are in the Crab Graveyard, look for the white Coral. You will see it covering the area and heading down the hill. Look for the small pink things stuck to the Coral. That is the Salt. You will see these pink spots all over the Coral Domes.
