For a lot of Gold in Subnautica 2, go to a specific place. This place has a lot of the resource so you can easily fill your inventory fast.

Getting to the Pillar

From your Lifepod, go straight east about 200 meters. Before you go, make sure you have the Heat Resistance ability as you will need it to survive the trip.

You will know you are close when you enter the warm zone and spot several small rock pillars. Swim past the first few of these to find one massive pillar in Subnautica 2.

Collecting Your Supplies

This large pillar is covered in materials. Look for the web-like ore near the base to find the Gold. As you swim around the bottom of the pillar and follow it down toward the seafloor, you will find plenty of it.

While you are there, you can also grab the Sulfur that grows on the top of the pillar. This location is an efficient place to farm if you need a large amount of Gold for your projects.
