You need to find silver to upgrade your gear in Subnautica 2. Silver allows you to upgrade your suit so you can stay underwater longer.

Finding the Secret Tunnel

Start at your escape pod and swim toward the north. Look for a large chunk of Coral. Near this coral, you will spot a wire running down into the depths. Follow this wire to a small Observation Base in Subnautica 2.

Swim past the post and drop down further. Look for a blue light illuminating a path. Head down into this tunnel, but keep your eyes sharp because the resource locations can change.

Collecting Silver

The silver blends into the environment. It looks like dark gray spots on the lighter Gray Rocks. Look around the tunnel walls carefully so you do not miss it.

There is a source of Oxygen inside this Cave System, so use it to replenish your air. Gather all the Silver chunks you can find in the area. You will need this material to upgrade your suit from 45 to 75 points, and you will want to keep extra pieces for later.
