You have to find two Blueprints to build the Hydroelectric Turbine. Start from your Lifepod. Travel north toward the Wu Wu Lianghai Base. When you arrive, look at the ground. You will spot a few structures.

You can scan the first Hydroelectric Turbine Blueprint there. Next, move east and climb over the mountain. Search the area below to find another base. You will see water flowing by it. Find and scan the second Hydroelectric Turbine Blueprint in that area in Subnautica 2.

How to Setup

Once you’re done, go back to your base. Create the Hydroelectric Turbine using Copper, Titanium, and Silver. You must place the device where the water is moving. It will turn to match the water flow. The machine will point the same way the current pushes.

Sending Power Home

You need a Power Transmitter to move the energy to your buildings. You will need one Titanium and one Copper to make it in Subnautica 2.

Take out the Power Transmitter and set it down. A line will show up. Keep placing them until the line reaches your base. This link brings electricity from the current to your system. You can then check your power levels to see that your base is running.
