To unlock more room recipes, you must travel to the Wu Wu Lianghai Base. This facility sits roughly 400 meters almost directly north of your Lifepod. A specific blackbox signal will guide you toward this general area.
Because the structure is located quite deep underwater, you must plan your descent carefully. Keep your eyes open for specific points where you can replenish your air supply so you do not run out of oxygen.

Exploring the Deep Facility
Swim all the way down to the bottom of the structure to find the main entrance. The facility features multiple entry points, but most of them are blocked and do not lead into the interior chambers in Subnautica 2.
You must use the specific open doorway located at the lower section. Once inside, you will find a massive amount of items to scan, including various chairs and decorations. Pull out your Scanning Tool and scan these objects as you move through the rooms.

Navigating the Maze and Unlocking Recipes
The interior layout can feel like a maze, so pay close attention to your path. When you enter the first major room, look for an oxygen tank device.
Floating directly above this device for a few seconds will completely refill your air supply, giving you enough time to explore without panicking. Move past this oxygen station and locate the vertical ladder shaft in Subnautica 2.
Swim all the way up to the top level of this section. In this upper area, you can scan a Dining Table. Walk straight through into the next room to find the most important blueprint in the facility, which unlocks the Ladder recipe for your base.
