The Blue Yamauba Bounty is one of the Quests you can take on in the Ishikari Plain region of Ghost of Yōtei. This guide explains how to unlock the Bounty, track its objectives, follow the leads to locate Blue Yamauba, and claim your rewards once the Bounty is complete.

How to Unlock the Blue Yamauba Bounty

The Bounty for Blue Yamauba is unlocked by default and can be accepted immediately at the Ishikari Market Bounty Board. You will find the board outside the market next to Kojiro, the Bounty Broker. Interact with the board to take the Blue Yamauba Bounty along with any other available bounties in Ghost of Yōtei.

Location of Blue Yamauba

The first lead of the Bounty takes you to Ishikari Fork, which is located east of the Ishikari Market. After accepting the Bounty, select Blue Yamauba on your map to track it, and use the Guiding Wind to reach the marked location.

When you arrive near Ishikari Fork, continue exploring until you reach a crossroad where a settler is asking for help. Eliminate the enemies in the area and speak with the settler afterward. He will give you the Blue Yamauba Drawing, which provides the next clue for locating the Bounty in Ghost of Yōtei.

Following the Leads

You must travel to Urara Forest to search for a location called Oni Breath Inn, where the next lead is found. Once you arrive near the inn, continue roaming until you find a Hut filled with Masks. Approach the Hut and talk to Saburo the Mask Artisan to learn more details about the Bounty’s trail.

From Saburo the Mask Artisan’s location, head a bit northeast to find a Burnt House. You will encounter enemies patrolling the area around the house. Defeat them before entering.

If you do not see any enemies near the burnt house, it means that a previous step may have been missed. Ensure you have followed all earlier leads before returning to this location in Ghost of Yōtei.

Once inside the burnt house, investigate three specific objects: the pile of Rocks with incense, the pile of Masks in the corner, and the Wooden Doll placed on a mat. After examining all three objects, Miyo will appear, revealing herself to be Blue Yamauba.

Defeating Blue Yamauba

When Miyo reveals herself as Blue Yamauba, she will engage you in battle, joined by Oni Raiders. Defeat Blue Yamauba and eliminate the Oni Raiders to complete the fight. A brief cutscene will play after the battle concludes, marking the end of the Bounty.

Bounty Completion Rewards

After defeating Blue Yamauba, return to Kojiro the Bounty Broker at the Ishikari Market to claim your rewards. Completing this Bounty will earn you the Blue Yamauba Mask and 1500 Coins in Ghost of Yōtei.
