The Eagle Eye Kondo Bounty is a quest you can undertake in the Oshima Coast region of Ghost of Yōtei. This guide explains how to unlock the Bounty, reach the island where Eagle Eye Kondo is located, handle the guards, and claim your rewards upon completing the mission.

Unlocking Eagle Eye Kondo Bounty

You can unlock the Eagle Eye Kondo Bounty by default at the Matsumae Castle Bounty Board in Oshima Coast. Once you accept the Bounty, head to the south side of Oshima Coast, near the Ensan Inlet, where you will find a samurai hiding behind the rocks. Speak to him to begin the hunt for Eagle Eye Kondo in Ghost of Yōtei.

Reaching Eagle Eye Kondo’s Island

The samurai will warn you about Eagle Eye Kondo’s guards and the eagles patrolling the island. To reach the island, swim across the water without being detected by either the eagles or the guards.

You can submerge underwater by pressing the R3 button to remain unseen, but keep track of your breath meter. Running out of breath will gradually decrease your HP, so move swiftly to avoid damage. The entrance to the island is on the opposite side of where you begin your swim in Ghost of Yōtei.

Preparing for the Encounter

When you get to the island, Eagle Eye Kondo and his guards will be waiting for you. You will have to swim across the water again to get back to the fight if you die in this battle.

If you want to make the fight more straightforward to handle, you should be sneaky and kill the guards around Eagle Eye Kondo before going after him directly in Ghost of Yōtei.

All of the enemies on the island are equipped with wooden shields, which can be difficult to counter using regular attacks. One of the most effective ways to break their shields is by using a Kusarigama, allowing you to attack and break their defenses from a distance.
