The Crow Genzo Bounty is one of the early missions you can complete in Ghost of Yōtei. This guide will take you through each step, from locating the target to claiming the Rewards. Following these steps will help you finish the Bounty efficiently without missing any key items or techniques.

Locating Crow Genzo

After accepting the Crow Genzo Bounty, the game will indicate that he was last spotted in the Cemetery located in the western section of Jade Grove. Open your map to locate Jade Grove, which is marked in yellow text, and place a marker on the corresponding location in Ghost of Yōtei.

Once you have marked the destination, mount your horse and activate the Guiding Wind. Follow the Wind’s direction toward the targeted area. Continue tracking it as you move through Jade Grove; the path will gradually lead you up a mountain. Keep to the route that ascends toward higher ground to reach the correct spot.

Reaching the Cemetery

Upon arriving at the designated area, you will find yourself in the Cemetery. Stay on the main path, as it will lead you directly to the target's location. You may encounter a few Collectible Notes and other items along the way, but they are optional and not necessary for completing the Bounty in Ghost of Yōtei.

Confronting Crow Genzo

At the Cemetery, you will encounter Crow Genzo. This boss fight is straightforward, as he does not attack with high speed, making it easier to land hits and avoid his strikes. Engage him until he is defeated.

Be cautious after the fight because additional enemies will appear to attack you. Deal with them to secure the area before proceeding further in Ghost of Yōtei.

Rewards and Unlockables

Upon completing the Bounty, you will unlock a new Quickfire Weapon called the Metsubushi. Afterward, you will come across the Altar of Reflection. Approach the Altar and bow to the Totem to activate it. This will allow you to unlock a new technique, which you can assign to one of three options: Onryō, Melee, or Revenge.

Once you loot Crow Genzo’s body, you will also obtain Crow Genzo's Sandogasa Hat as an additional Reward in Ghost of Yōtei.
