The primary objective in the Battle of Changban is to ensure all allies rendezvous with Liu Bei within eight minutes. Selecting Zhang Fei as a starting companion is recommended. Moving across the bridge with him does not interfere with the challenge and allows for the early support of distant allies.

Priority should be given to the furthest ally in distress. After assisting them, progressing to the base where two more allies require aid ensures their survival. Keeping an eye on Liu Bei is also essential, as he may need protection. With all allies accounted for, clearing surrounding enemies and returning to Liu Bei stabilizes the battlefield.
