Dynasty Warriors: Origins is one of the bold steps taken in this already beloved series, which clearly deviates from norms and ideas that have emerged and entertained for several decades in the hack-and-slash genre.
This guide covers the Jieqiao Province Battle and Xu Province Battle, which are relatively easy but require some insight to compete with the best results.
Jieqiao Province Battle
In the Jieqiao stage, the objective is to defeat Chunyu Qiong within three minutes. Chunyu Qiong can be located in the center of the map, near the top-left corner, where he sets up an ambush for Gongsun Zan’s group. Head directly to his position without delay.
For optimal results, equip a sword to utilize its powerful battle arts, which make it easier to defeat Chunyu Qiong quickly. Activate bravery items, attack boosters, and chow down on meat buns in order to yield maximum damage output. Chunyu Qiong is supposed to have more health, and therefore every second counts. After defeating him within the time limit, move to defeat any remaining enemies on the map who shouldn't pose a threat.
Xu Province Battle
In the Xu Province, the objective is to defeat Sui Tai before his army launches a full-fledged attack. Time is of the essence, and getting to Sui Tai at once is a must in order to get a head start.
Using a weapon as strong as the Demon Slayer would be ideal, with a strong fire attack and Musou gauge boost capabilities. Avoid diverting attention to assisting allies, as any delay will give Sui Tai’s troops the opportunity to wreak havoc.
Engage Sui Tai directly and use all available resources, such as bravery items and attack boosts, to minimize the time required to defeat him. Once Sui Tai is defeated, his forces will cease their advance, securing the challenge victory.
The Jieqiao and Xu Province phases all demand careful execution and effective resource use. To succeed, important threats must be eliminated in a timely manner, critical structures must be preserved, and objectives must be prioritized.
