Dynasty Warriors: Origins is one of the bold steps taken in this already beloved series, which clearly deviates from norms and ideas that have emerged and entertained for several decades in the hack-and-slash genre. This guide will cover the final stage of Chapter 2: the Suppression of Jing.

Suppression of Jing

The final stage, the Suppression of Jing, is the easiest of the three. There's no time limit, and your only task is to ensure no allies retreat. This stage involves ambushes with Sun Jian, so begin by choosing a starting side—left or right—and assist the forces there.

Once the initial enemies are cleared, switch to the opposite side to support allies like Cheng Pu and Han Dang. Sun Jian, stationed in the middle, is self-sufficient and unlikely to fall. Once all ambushes are triggered, rush to assist the ambush team.

Keep an eye on allies advancing to enemy bases, particularly Cheng Pu on the western side, who faces strong resistance early on. Ensure he doesn't fall, then continue supporting your team as they advance. The final commander, Oin Oing, will activate his True Ultimate Musou, but using bravery buffs and spamming your strongest battle arts will quickly handle him.

The three suppression battles are straightforward and require minimal preparation. Focus on quick damage output, keeping allies safe, and adapting your playstyle with weapons and battle arts you enjoy. Chapter 2 is a relatively easy section, so take your time mastering these strategies.
