To get your hands on the Sayonara trophy in Ghost of Yōtei, you’re required to knock an enemy off a cliff to their death. You can do this by either using Shoulder Charge or Typhoon Kick.

This may sound relatively easy, but finding the right Location as well as enemies to fight can be tricky.

Unlocking The Skills

First, you’ll want to unlock the two abilities that are capable of knocking enemies off cliffs.

You’ll find the Shoulder Charge in the survival section of the Onryo survival tree.

You’ll be able to perform the ability by pressing L3 while sprinting.

New techniques can be unlocked by locating Altars of Reflection on the map, which can be revealed by purchasing them from cartographers.

If you want to get your hands on the Typhoon Kick ability, you’ll need to complete The Way of the Yari quest in Ishikari Plains

Finding the Right Location

You want to pick up an area that is suitable with a cliff nearby, particularly at a height that will instantly kill the enemy.

Looking for you, there’s a reliable spot in the Ishikari Plains, where there are always three enemies near a cliff.

You’ll first want to start the fight with a stand-off and eliminate until only one enemy is remaining to make the fight less chaotic.

When there’s only one enemy left, you will want to make sure that the enemy's back faces the end of the cliff, dodge and block their attacks until they are positioned adequately.

And finally, once their backs are turned against the cliff, sprint towards them and perform either Shoulder Charge or Typhoon Kick.

If they die on the first try, you will be rewarded with the Sayonara Trophy.

Do keep in mind that some of the cliffs may not be steep enough, so pick a ledge that works best.
